Injection Molding

DESCRIPTION

Meyer Plastics is now injection molding parts in addition to vacuum forming, CNC routing, 3D printing, display making, screen printing and more. This new capability allows us to apply the best technology toward manufacturing your product, bringing the lowest cost and highest quality to your specification.

Several customers have found importing from China to be increasingly difficult. Since the pandemic, lead times have extended to unbearable lengths. Overseas freight has skyrocketed as logistic channels have clogged. Tariffs are a constant threat, injecting uncertainty into the product cost. Required container load quantities to justify freight costs drive lower inventory leading to poor cash flow. Meyer Plastics has found injection molding to be an easy process to onshore and deliver much improved value.

Equipment

Currently we have a couple machines in the 150-ton size, which means we can mold parts up to 6” x 6”, weighing up to 8-10 ounces. We are willing to mold and hold to achieve sufficient production quantities. As we grow this division we will add more and larger machines.

Need a mold for a new part, we can facilitate that as well. Unsure of your new part design, we can prototype it within our 3D printing department.
