CNC Routing

Meyer Plastics specializes in CNC Routing with a diverse range of customers and the products they require. Whatever your project requires we can assist from conception to design, prototyping into production. We become your partner in manufacturing. A typical project starts a customer’s CAD model of the needed part. We can also start with a sample part or sketch if the model does not exist.

Our programmers use the solid model and generate a tool path for the CNC router. Once the program is finished, prototype samples can be supplied for evaluation and testing. At this stage multiple materials can be trialed for final selection. These projects can usually be completed in a very short time. CNC routed parts are made from ABS, polyethylene, styrene, Kydex, polycarbonate, PVC, PETG and acrylic. Meyer Plastics has a full stable of 3 and 5 axis routers available to production. These machines are also used for machining part holding fixtures and post trimming of vacuum formed parts.
