Environmental Policy
Meyer Plastics is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our operation within the communities we serve.
To meet our environmental commitment, we will:
- Recycle residual plastic generated from our daily production. Not only our residual plastic but assisting our customers to recycle as well.
- Meet and exceed all current and future national environmental legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Adopt the best operational practices to reduce the environmental impacts of Meyer Plastics, Inc.’s activities and policies.
- Take action to reduce the carbon footprint of our activities and ensure our buildings and services can adapt to environmental change.
- Monitor, manage and minimize Meyer Plastics, Inc.’s use of energy and water.
- Minimize the environmental impact of associated travel with our venues and business
- Minimize the amount of waste produced by Meyer Plastics, Inc. and our partners to encourage greater reuse of recycled goods.
- Consider environmental factors in Meyer Plastics, Inc’s decisions and activities by giving due consideration to environmental issues and energy performance in the design, refurbishment, and use of our facilities and our product offerings.
- Encourage and develop our employees, volunteers, partners and stakeholders to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
To ensure we meet our commitments, we undertake to periodically monitor and review our environmental performance and take corrective action where necessary. This policy will be reviewed annually.
