PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride or Vinyl)

DESCRIPTION

PVC is a high-strength thermoplastic material. It is widely used in applications such as pipe, medical devices, wire and cable insulation. PVC has excellent chemical resistance. It is the world’s third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer after polyethylene and polypropylene.  It is available in rod, tube, plate, and sheet.  PVC is very durable and easy to process.

PRIMARY SOURCE

About the supplier:

Rochling, SE, Co. is our primary source for standard PVC shapes.

NOTE: It is also available as a graphic material, foamed which reduces the weight by 30% and is available in all the primary sign colors.  See PVC Foam under Sign Materials.  Roechling uses the trade name of Trovidur® to brand PVC.
